Patricia's Obituary
Mother Patricia Phillips was born on Janaury 18, 1948 in Gary, Indiana- the youngest child of Leroy and Margarett Collyear. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1967. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years and was very active in her community.
Mother Phillips married Roosevelt Phillips Jr on Jan 27, 197&. To this union Andrian L. Phillips was born. This union became a blended family and she help raise her stepchildren and she was affectionately known as "Ma Pat".
Ma Pat is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Roosevelt Phillips Jr, her parents, her siblings Mildred Warlick, Thelma Hunt, Leroy Collyear Jr., Leroy James Collyear, Aaron Collyear and her step-daughter Deanna Phillips.
Mother Phillips leaves to cherish her memory her loving son, Andrian Phillips (Brooklyn, NY), Lillie Hall (Aurora, CO), Sibyl Phillips, Roosevelt Phillips III, & Elder Denise Phillips (all of South Haven, MI), special nephew Lewis Wilson (Gary, IN). Grandchildren: Anthony McNair, Tesia Richardson, Meloniece Phillips, Everritt Phillips, Jerrimy Phillips, Deandrika Phillips and Connie Phillips as well as many nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
Wake will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM (EST) on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Lily of the Valley Church in Covert. Funeral services will follow the wake at 1:00 (EST) PM at the church with Bishop Darryl Williams officiating.
