Sherman Martin Harding

Austin & Hattie Harding made their family home in Covert, Michigan. To their union was born Leslie,Sara, Pearl, Chester, Sherman & Shirley (twins),Albert, Austin and David. Austin Sr. brought to the family, Beryl, Gloria and Charles. The Harding family extends from Michigan to Jamaica and from earth to glory. The Harding family was Christian. Covert Community Church was a place of refuge, a place of peace, a place to develop talents and deepen faith.

Sherman was born on the sunny side of life. He always made you laugh and saw the irony in things. He lived for a time in Los Angeles and Texas before returning to Covert. Sherman chose plumbing as his trade. Sherman and Tammy McGuire, Jessica and Marshell made up a family unit. Sherman was and is loved by His grandchildren, family and friends.

A wake will be held Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Memorial Services will follow at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home with pastor Andrew Holloway officiating. Sherman will be laid to rest in Covert Cemetery in Covert, Michigan.
