Jose's Obituary
Jose Abelino Flores, 59, of South Haven, passed away Friday, July 5, 2019 at his home under Hospice care. He was born November 10, 1959 to Maximo Flores and Trinidad Martinez in Rosamorada, Mexico. Jose was a great cook and was known for his birria. He loved to farm and enjoyed tending his flower gardens. He loved his family who will remember him for his many jokes and sense of humor.
He is preceded in death by his father – Maximo Flores, and oldest brother Emilio Flores.
Jose is survived by his wife – Herminia; children – Juan Manuel Flores, Federico (Erika Garcia) Flores, Adriah (Edith) Flores, Madelein Flores, Ruvid Flores, and Abel (Malina) Flores; mother – Trinidad Martinez; siblings – Silvestre, Guadalupe, Federico, Anita, Amada, and Oliva Flores; 18 grandchildren also survive.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, July 12, 2019 with Father Fabio Garzon officiating at the funeral home. Jose will be laid to rest at Chambers Cemetery in Geneva Township.
