Lorraine's Obituary
Lorraine Wise, 98, of Kalamazoo, formerly of South Haven, passed away August 9, 2019 at her home under Hospice care. She was born September 30, 1920 to DeWitt and Carrie (Bailey) Dawson in St. Louis, Missouri. She married Ralph C. Wise on December 24, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois. They shared 63 years in marriage. Lorraine owned and operate Lorraine’s Professional Beauty Shoppe in Chicago for 30 years. She was a former member of the Church of the Epiphany Episcopal Church and a member of the Holy Trinity Anglican Church both in South Haven.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Lorraine is survived by her husband – Ralph C. Wise of Kalamazoo.
Graveside services will be held Friday, August 16, 2019 at 11:30 A.M. at the Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan with Father Daniel Repp officiating. Contributions may be made in Lorraine’s memory to the Holy Trinity Anglican Church Building Fund, 67885 8th Ave., South Haven, MI 49090.
