Mary Massey-Palmer

Mary Massey-Palmer, 54, of Bangor, Michigan went home to the Lord peacefully in her home on September 13, 2019. She was born October 24, 1964 to Ben and Christine Massey in Forrest City, Arkansas. Mary graduated from Covert High School with the class of 1984. She attended Lake Michigan College. Mary married Lawrence Palmer on February 9, 2013 in Covert. Throughout her life Mary worked as a manager of various stores and restaurants.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Tommy Massey and Woody Davis Jr., III.

Mary is survived by her husband, Lawrence; Stepson – Dywane Perry; Siblings – Elizabeth Jones of Holland, Michigan, Barbara Davis of Chicago, Illinois, Michelle Davis of Bridgeman, Michigan and James Charles Massey of Little Rock, Arkansas. Sister-in-laws-Rosetta Wilson, Carolyn Palmer, Nieche Palmer and  Susan Copeland;  Nephews – Darcell Clark, Bradford McKenzie, Tommy Massey, Stephen Davis and  Michael Williams; Niece – Senario Massey; and Cousins – Cornelia, Michelle, Marla, and William Dawson. A host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

A wake will be held Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor John Fitzgerald officiating.
