Stanley's Obituary
Stanley Nowak, 87, of South Haven, Michigan passed away November 14, 2019 in South Haven. He was born March 1, 1932 to Joseph and Stella Nowak in Czestochowa, Poland. Stanley married Rita Kniaz in 1952 and they shared 67 years of marriage before his passing. Stanley immigrated from Poland and worked in Chicago, Illinois before retiring to Michigan twenty-five years ago. He was a handyman and loved to tinker in his garage. Stanley enjoyed fishing, hunting, and being outdoors.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son - John Nowak and siblings – Eugene, Victor, Valentina, Teresa, and Hania.
Stanley is survived by his wife, Rita Nowak, son - Jim (Nancy) Nowak of Covert, Daughter-in-law - Theresa Nowak, brother-in-law – Wesley Kniaz and family, Robert, Mariola, Joe, Nathan, and Jacob, and granddaughters – Stephanie, Michelle, Megan, Christine, and Kimberly.
Visitation will take place Sunday, November 17, 2019 from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Father Jim Morris officiating.
