Billie's Memory Wall
We encourage you to share your most beloved memories of Billie here, so that the family and other loved ones can always see it. Share your favorite stories or comment on those shared by others.
Our family was so blessed by Billie, and we love her dearly. Her smile lit up the room everywhere she went. She was the perfect Pastor's Wife, and treated everyone with kindness and love. She portrayed her Savior well and is enjoying the presence of Jesus, Pastor Coffman, and having a good time with my Mother. Prayers for all of the family.

Coffman Family, I loved Billie and will miss her. I enjoyed visiting her and reading to to her from Our Daily Bread and sometimes other devotional books. I continue to pray for all of you, that God will comfort each one of you at this time. May God's unfailing love be your comfort (Psalm 119:76). Marzella Rasmussen

I'm so thankful to have known Billie. She always had a smile and encouraging word. She was someone I always wanted to see when I came home. I'm rejoicing that she is home with our Lord now.

I will miss Billie so much. She called me every week to check on me and give me updates on our mutual friends. I know she's rejoicing to see our Lord and Bro. Coffman and my husband Paul. We had wonderful times going out to dinners together. We were really close friends. I will look forward to seeing her in heaven.

Remember when visiting the Coffman residence Ms. Coffman (Billie), would greet cheerfully and make you feel that you were a part of their family. Recall thinking that there was no way that a bad attitude would even think of being around Ms. Coffman. It was because the grace she had would overshadow any negative on any day...Will miss her...

In honor of Billie, Patricia Anderson lit a candle.
She always smiled at me when I handed her money to make something for funerals . I loved her so much.

I am so sad that on this side of Heaven that Billie is gone, but she is happy now at Jesus' feet. I'm sure that her husband Pastor Jim was there to meet her when she entered. I will miss her smile that she had for everyone, and a stranger was just a friend she had not met yet. I am so sorry for all the family, for Charlotte, Jim, and Raymond and all the extended grands and great-grands. She will be missed, and I want every one of her family to know that she was a wonderful role model to me, and MANY others of what a Christian woman should be. There was something I copied down a few years ago about what a grandson had said about his grandfather's passing.....Love doesn't end with dying and love doesn't leave with the last breath. For someone you've loved deeply, our love doesn't end with death. (His name was Matthew Anderson, and just a few weeks after he said that at his grandfathers funeral, Matthew himself died in an auto accident.) God speed, Billie, and we will see you again.

Billie and James were my neighbors in St. Joseph for a number of years. I always loved listening to her call to her little dogs, especially Otis and Star! She was the sweetest and kindest lady I've been blessed to know.

Billie was such a light in my life. She was one of the first to make my husband and I feel welcome at Road to Life Church. Her warmth and bright smile just said “Jesus” to everyone she met. Over the years when I’d visit her, here in St. Joseph and at her residence in Kalamazoo, I always had to bring her sugar cookies. Several months ago when some of us went to visit, I forgot her ccocokies. Well when we went to see her about a month ago, one of the first things she asked was...”Did you bring my cookies?” I had remembered. I’ll never be able to bake my sugar cookies again without thinking of my dear Billie.
