So sorry about your loss. Don was a classmate all thru St. Johns. In elementary school, we often walked to school together. I remember his ready smile. A truly nice guy.

In honor of Don, Christine Knuth lit a candle.
Judy, Jeff and Scott,
Words cannot express the sadness that comes with the news of Don's passing. I will always remember the family events where he was the life of the party. George and Halla adored all of you and I know that Don is now in Heaven with them!

Judy & Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Don was truly a great person. He always had a smile on his face. He didn't have a mean bone in his body, never said a bad thing about anything or anyone. Always willing to help and provide support when and where ever needed. His positive and upbeat attitude was contagious. He was so proud of his family and truly loved them. Every time he looked at his beautiful wife, Judy, there was a special sparkle in his eyes. When he spoke of his grandson, Hudson, his face would light up. You could truly see the love in his eyes and on his face! He has truly been a role model to me from when I first met him, his kindness, integrity, and positive attitude. He truly was an amazing person. My heart goes out to Judy. May God keep you and your family close to his heart during this difficult time. If I can do anything, I am here... You are in my thoughts and prayers. Heaven gained a truly amazing person... Don will be greatly missed by all who knew him...

Many an enjoyable Saturday morning playing handball at the Y, and cooling off with a couple of brews afterwards at one of the local pubs. Always a gentleman and good sport. A good man to call a friend

Dear Judy and family, Please accept our warmest thoughts and wishes at this difficult time of loss. We will always hold dear the wonderful memories we had with you and Don in Florida where we met you. ...together memories of... Apple computer classes we attended, lunches out, and even the Michigan Day celebration in Ft. Myers Beach....so noisy we could hardly hear each other speak, but WE WERE THERE :) and let us not forget the silly Polish Poker we tried to play, or a dinner or snacks shared.
Don was a wonderful guy. The best! He had a gift for keeping us all calm...even Neil. He will be missed in so many ways. Judy, know you can lean on us if we can help with anything. Sending our ??

Don was a good friend. We enjoyed both he & Judy in our many get togethers.. We spent a lot of time both in Michigan & Florida doing nothing special but enjoying what we did. I spent much quality time with Don fishing the "Big Lake" & Lake Erie. Sharon & I feel the great loss of a terrific guy.
He will be definitely missed & but very fondly remembered.. Much love to Judy. Ruby & family.

Don and I worked together at Whirlpool for many years. He was dedicated to his job, but more so to his wife, Judy, and his sons, Jeff and Scott. I remember many weekends when he and Judy and the boys traveled to motocross races and hearing the stories on Monday of races won and lost. He would miss Judy's birthday almost every year because deer season would start at the same time. But in spite of his being gone, he never forgot her special day. I also remember how he looked after his disabled mother when her health was declining and trying to make sure she was comfortable. We didn't see each other often, but when we did, he was always upbeat, no matter how he was feeling. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Rest in Peace, Don
