Our condolences to Evelyn and Jim's family. While I was a member of the Church Trustees, I experienced Jim's dedication and hard work in maintaining the church. His resilience was remarkable. His long bout with cancer has ended, but he kept on to the end. We are so glad that we got to have a short visit with him one more time when we were back to St Joseph for Jimmy Butt's funeral and Jim was there working during the luncheon. He will be missed by the church and all that knew him.

My heartfelt condolences to Jim's family. I enjoyed and valued my conversations with Jim every Saturday morning while preparing for the weekly Men's breakfast and Bible study at the Saint Joe First UMC. I will miss him very much.

Our love and prayers are extended to Jim’s entire family at this time of grief and sorrow. Jim and I were on staff together for many years at the First United Methodist Church in St. Joseph. It was a pleasure to work with such a conscientious and hard working man. Jim was always diligent, thorough and professional in his work. Jim was a man of faith and approached his work as a service to God. Jim was courageous in his battle with cancer and now enjoys the perfect victory
over the disease that persisted for many years. Blessings
