Joan's Memory Wall
We encourage you to share your most beloved memories of Joan here, so that the family and other loved ones can always see it. Share your favorite stories or comment on those shared by others.
Just yesterday Florence and I heard about Joan’s passing. We are so sorry. We were so blessed to have known her for the past two years. When we first came to Stevensville SDA church, she was among the first ones who made us feel welcome there. She provided us with valuable advice as we started our studies at Andrews. She was such a kind and gentle lady. We will miss her until we see her again! May the God we serve provide the comfort needed to Dick, Shari, Linda, all extended family members, loved ones, and friends who are mourning for her. Praying for you all.

We are sorry to hear of Joan's passing. We met Joan through her sister, Judy, and felt the goodness and love from both of them. Sincere condolences to Joan's family and friends, we know she will be missed very much.

The Joan I knew was always kind and soft spoken even if she did not agree on a subject being discussed. We are sad not to have her in our midst anymore but we are glad that she is sleeping in Jesus and that we will see her again on resurrection day , which does not seem to be that far off anymore .

It saddens me to hear of Joan's passing. I have been thinking of her family and they will be in my prayers. Is was such a sweet-hearted person, and so gentle. Peggy and I have been blessed to get to know her and Dick better and spend some time together last couple of months.

I loved her dearly. There was a kindred spirit between us. She was an avid supporter of any ministry I shared with her especially when it came to women and children. She had a great mind, a warm heart and an abundance of love and dedication for God and others. I am very disappointed to be unable to take her to lunch again here on earth, but I look forward to a wonderful reunion with her in heaven at that great banqueting table. Remembering the sparkle in her eye makes me want to be there. Soon and very soon!!!

Joan always had a kind word with a smile and a little wisdom along the way. She was an awesome influence on family, church and friends; Joan will be greatly missed. Our prayers are with her family as they endure the grieving process and remember that she sleeps until our savior returns.

Dear Family,
What a precious soul has been lost to death. But God will win and one day her bright and shinning eyes will be seen again in the perfect kingdom that she deserves! I grieve with you and wish that I could be there to celebrate her life, but I'm south with my kids.
