I met Gary at Burger King in St. Joe. We both often stopped there for breakfast and would read the current best sellers while we ate. At some point we got to discussing what we were reading and that really made the books more enjoyable to get another person's view on what the author of the book was trying to convey. He often talked of his wife, Margaret, and what she was reading at the time. He also talked of his daughter Stephanie. He dearly loved her so much. She was the light of his life. She brought so much joy to him. Margaret and Stephanie you both were so blessed to be loved by Gary. He was a wonderful man. May God look after you both for Gary, Maggie Van Hoeven

I am so sorry for your loss. I only knew Gary as my accountant for a couple of years but he was so gracious and personable that it always seemed more than just a working relationship. May God be with you as you mourn, bringing you peace and assurance.

I met Gary at the 505 Building a few years ago. Gary was a good friend and was always ready help anyone. I will miss going up to his office and having a conversation about life and about the scriptures. Gary will be truly missed.
John 5:27,28,29 says: 27 And he has given him authority to do judging, because he is the Son of man. 28 Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out...
There will be a resurrection, Acts 24:15 says: 15 And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.
We will be able to see Gary again in the resurrection.
To the Renfro family...
I am so very sorry for your loss, I hope that these scriptures will help you to find a measure of comfort.
May Almighty God Bless you and yours,
In Christ Jesus' name we pray,
Amen

I am so sorry to hear of Gary's passing. He was a trusted adviser, a good friend and a great man. Most people aren't too fired up to see their CPA as the news is often unpleasant. However, I always looked forward to my annual meetings with Gary. Even when he delivered bad news, he did it with a smile and a joke. Our conversations never solely consisted of business as we always wound up talking about life and our families. He was such a positive influence in my life and I will surely miss him.

Gary was a trusted advisor to me in many ways, as a friend, Christian counselor, financial consultant and all around example of how we should live our lives in relationship to others. May God bless his whole family with the kindness and thoughtfulness he has been an example of.

Margaret and Stephanie I am so sorry for you loss. Gary was a great person. I worked with him when he used to do the City of St. Joseph’s audit. I always enjoyed working with him during the audits and liked when I ran into him somewhere in town. May you find comfort in your memories.
