Dear Grams Family
I only met Leo once ... many many years ago. His smile will always be imprinted on my mind
When our parents are in their 90s and prepared to go it is still hard for us who are left behind
My mom just passed on at 90 earlier this year ... I am sure they are talking about us now
In the words of William Blake
He who binds to himself a joy does the winged life destroy
But he who kisses the joy as it flies lives in eternity’s sunrise
Hugs to all of you … Bernie

Dear Ingrid,Dave & Helle...I am so sorry to learn of your Dad's passing. He was the sweetest, caring man. In all the encounters I had with him he always had that wonderful smile on his face...especially when he was with Lucy. Over time I came to consider him like a second dad. I know he is especially happy now that he can be joined with Lucy again. I pray that God will comfort you at this time of sorrow and know that friends are praying for you too.

Dear Ingrid and family, So sorry for your loss!!! I will truly miss him as I remember visiting both him and your mom. Uncle Leo was the best and last of the original german group at Oakridge. I remember coming to their house on Sunday for great conversation and zucchini bread and coffee. He was so attentive for getting it ready as your mom and I would chat...Those are special memories I will hold dear in my heart. May the Lord comfort you as you share his memories. Always remember that he's really not gone as long as you remember him...Chris

Deepest Sympathy for the loss of your dear Father/Opa Both my deceased Mother and my recently deceased Father (Toni and Edmund Weiss) enjoyed reminiscing about Germany after World War !! with him. Your Father was always so happy, optimistic and loved to speak with people. I remember him speaking about his true and steadfast faith in God. He will be greatly missed in your family, however, we arrive peace knowing our parents are in Heaven with Jesus and family and their lessons in life taught and their love live in our hearts forever!
