Cheryl Joy Miller

Cheryl (Cheri) Joy Miller passed away at her home on Sunday, March 11, 2018. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the MS Foundation Cheri was born December 24, 1965 in St. Joseph to Nick & Emily Miller. She was a graduate of St. Joseph High School. She lived and worked in this community all her life. She is survived by her mother Emily Miller, brothers George (Dozer) Miller, Mike (Becky) Miller and sisters Julie Pascua, DeeDee Jackson, Lisa (Rick) Halliday, Jenny (Keith) Miller, Vicki (Blaine) Warmbein and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father Nick Miller, brother Patrick Miller and nephew Ricky Halliday. Cheri’s best times were with her mom, grandma and family on annual Vegas trips.  She loved a great team play. Cheri would host the family get-togethers which earned her the nickname “Chef” by her nieces and nephews; she always cooked for ten even when it was two.  It was important to her to keep the traditions of her grandma Geary. She had a love for photography and her favorite themes were of the pier and sunsets over Lake Michigan. She was very outgoing, never knew a stranger and was a loyal friend. Cheri we all love you and miss you.
