I have known Bruce for many years thru my work as a painter. He was the sweetest guy I've ever met. When I heard of his passing it broke my heart. I will never forget his beautiful smile. I know he has already earned his angel wings in Heaven. I'll miss you, Bruce! You will always hold a special place in my heart. I love ya, Dude!!!!

I went to school with Bruce and graduated in the same year. We had a lot of classes together. He always made me laugh! He was a great human being and always had a smile on his face. I live in Jackson MI too and have for the past several years. I wish I had known he lived in the same town as I do. I would have tried to get into contact with him. I had no idea he was here. My most sincere prayers and condolences to the family.

I was so sorry to learn about Bruce's passing. What a wonderful person he was, as witnessed by the many messages I read. Even though I have not seen any of you in such a long time, I still have good memories of our kids' baseball days and your family. Those were good times. I know it's a very difficult time for you, and my heart goes out to you. God bless!

My thoughts and prayers are with Bruce and his family at this difficult time. I worked with Bruce for a short time and have nothing but great memories. He always had a positive outlook and loved talking about the packers and anything sports related. May he rest in peace.

Dee, Jim and Brad, I am so sorry to hear the sad news about Bruce. I know it has been many years since I've seen you, but I've thought about you every time I was in Stevensville and drove by your house on Washington Avenue. I have wonderful memories babysitting and will never forget about our imaginary friend, "Bompy". You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Although it has been over 45 years, since I last saw Bruce, I still have fond memories of him and Brad, the summer I spent babysitting them. I still have and occasionally wear the ivory earrings they gave me, when I graduated. I will keep you close in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Take care and God Bless

I’ll never forget growing up on Kingman drive and playing goal line stance. A crazy game Bruce made up. We spent hours in his backyard with Brad...Just playing ball with neighborhood friends. You will be missed, prayers to the Flippo family. Keeping all of you in my prayers and thoughts.

The best of the best-a heart of gold. Jim, Dee, and Brad-Bruce was taken way too soon. He has always had a special place in my families memories. Watching the Bears and the Packers, the Wolverines and Irish- always brings all of those memories rushing back. Loved the memories of living up on the lake. The weekend parties with all of the Lakeshore Gang, trying to keep Bruce, Tim, Bryan, Norm, Sean, and Kenny in check. Loved that group. My heart weeps for us all!
