My heart is sad that the world has lost a special person but I can see her dancing and smiling with your dad in heaven now. I remember all our fun memories at your house and I will always treasure my teen years spent with you, Lori. Sending prayers to all.

In honor of Marlene, Michelle Bugg-Flaherty lit a candle.
To the entire Denekas family:
Your mom was such a class act. I have early memories of your family as some of the first folks we met when we moved here in 1966. She was quite the organist. Having played piano, I was always amazed by the quality of music and the ease in which she played week after week at the church. Both of your parents hold a special place in my heart. They were so proud of all of you. I still pass by your house on Nelson and think of them, and all of you, each time I do.
God now has an extra angel to play his music. I will hold you all in my thoughts and prayers.
