Mrs. Machemer, I was terribly saddened to learn of Mr. Machemer's passing. Bless you my dear friend, and I'm confident he's resting in the arms of the Lord.

Sorry to see a great man pass on. I fondly remember Mel from many years at Bendix/Allied Signal. Mel was always there when you needed him and would head out to an off site job when needed. He was a great influence on all his coworkers. A great father and husband. I always remember the day I ran into Mel and Ellen at breakfast in Stevensville. They road their bikes there and Mel said he was there with his biker babes. A great friend!

My condolences to the family of my cousin, Mel. It takes a wonderful person to leave behind a great family like his, and Mel was just such a person.
When my brothers and I were growing up many years ago, Mel was one of our favorite people. To our mother he was more like a son than a nephew, and the feelings ran both ways. That speaks well for the kind of person he was.

Someone like Mel doesn't come along in this life frequently, he was the best husband and provider for my sister, Ellen, the father, grand father and great grandfather and always willing to help in any way he could in any life event. I am so thankful and happy that he was a part of my life in so many ways ... I will miss him has Mel, and I will truly miss him as my brother-in-law.
