Thomas's Memory Wall
We encourage you to share your most beloved memories of Thomas here, so that the family and other loved ones can always see it. Share your favorite stories or comment on those shared by others.
Kevin, Toni & Lorrie, I understand the loss of your dear father as I have been a family friend of Kevin's since the 4th grade. I spent many, many hours in the Sandel household as a young boy, teenager and as a adult growing up until the recent sale of the home just last year. I was always made to feel welcome by your Mom and Dad. Your father gave me direction towards my own life. Be firm and fair to people. I cherish the memories and the many cold "Old Milwaukee" beers we drank at the kitchen table "solving world problems"! Rest in Peace Tom!

To Tom's family, you are in my prayers. I first met your dad at the credit union where I worked for 39 years. He cleaned our copy machines along with my own IBM selectric III typewriter. Then I met him again at the Dank (German club) where he hosted many wonderful concertinas for the club. He will be missed so very much as he always had a wonderful smile and enjoyed his music box which I can imagine he's already teaching someone in Heaven how to play. Rest in Peace Tom.

Family of Tom, We met Tom at the DANK German club. He loved the song, Polka Jushue (spelling? Pronounced yashoo) & every time my accordionist husband played it, Tom & I danced to it. When he moved to the Whitcomb Towers, we continued to dance to it, as my husband plays music there once a month. It was challenging dancing on carpet but we managed. Tom lives on in the hearts of so many folks who know & love him! May God gift you with His comfort as you grieve his earthly loss yet celebrate his entry into Heaven!
