Jim often said he was the luckiest guy in the world. I then would be the second luckiest guy in the world when he became my father-in-law. A caring and compassionate person, he would often assist those residents at Caretel whom were in need more than he. He loved to work, taking on any job that involved working outside. When he finished trimming bushes, they looked like a professional landscaper had done the job. He could often be heard whistling or humming while he worked. He touched many lives in his 90 plus year and will be greatly missed. Thank you dad for sharing your your wife Iris, and daughter Pat with me. I could not have asked for any better in laws or wife. God blessed you on July 2, 1928 and again on November 8, 2018.
