My life and our family have been so enriched by Aunt Rosie's life that I can't imagine a world without her. She gave of herself freely to us--her time, affection, and little gifts. When we lived out in the country, not too far from her, she would often stop by with treats for our boys. And she always made me feel loved and special.
Perhaps one of the most special memories I have is when she traveled with us to Colorado Springs for Jonathan's wedding five years ago. She loved traveling, adventure, and taking pictures. She was like a kid on Christmas morning on these trips! (She also traveled with us to Corpus Christi when Jonathan graduated from flight school two years earlier.) The day after the wedding, the three of us drove up Pike's Peak. Rosie snapped pictures at every bend in the road, and it wasn't long before her camera battery died. Seeing her disappointment, we offered her one of our cameras and she went on happily snapping.
I can only imagine her sense of wonder and awe at being in heaven now and hope she has her camera ready!

This amazing woman touched my life so deeply. Rosie was a prayer warrior, listened intently, gave freely love and encouragement, and was present, really there when you spent time with her. Aunt Rosie made me feel special and cherished. I bet you felt the same way about her, she cared deeply. She taught me the power of investing in relationship. Rosie made a difference! My heart goes out to Lori, Alan, Rod and Dave; to Timmie and Trevor, Katie and Brandon, Erica and Megan. Rosie lite up talking about you all. What s treasure she was in our lives.
