Dear Marilyn and Family,
Sorry to hear this news of losing such a kind gentle man whom everyone loved. John was a great example in every way of a member of the so called "Greatest Generation" who helped build and improve this country. Much of his success and greatness I believe came from that beautiful woman (Marilyn) who stood by his side for 63 years! So glad that we new him and enjoyed that special glow in his face and sparkle in his eyes. Hope one day (if I go up there) I will be able to join him for a game of golf as he's probably playing everyday now.

John was a dear friend & an inspiration.
Dave & I will miss John. A kind ,intelligent man who lived life to the fullest .
