Our condolences to your Family. Dave remembers working at Bendix with Jim, along with Bob Hahn.
Before they both moved on to other jobs. Dave to the Berrien County Intermediate School District and Bob to being self-employed.
Dave's long term-memory is better than his short-term memory, after experiencing a bad fall, three years ago.
God's Blessings for your Family. Sincerely, Dave & Marian Rhodes

Our sincere condolences to you Jane, and to all of your family. I'm not sure if you'll remember me but I worked for Jim at Bendix from 1960 through late 1967. Jim always was so kind and supportive to me during those years and I've retained such fond memories of him and of what a truly fine and good man he was. Jim hired be when I was just a 19 year old kid, and turned me into an actual confident and competent accounting clerk. I will always be grateful to him for that. I remember that you and Jim came to my wedding in 1964, and I recall speaking to you on the phone many times when you called the office and I also recall how very nice and thoughtful it was for you and Jim to invite my husband and me out to dinner when I eventually left Bendix in 1967 when we decided to move to Indiana.
What I remember most about working with Jim was his all around good nature, his sense of humor, and most of all his fairness and kindness to me and everyone he came in contact with at the office. What particularly stays with me is the recollection of the many, many occasions during those years when Jim would speak so proudly and loving about you and your children. It was very obvious to all of us how very much he loved his family.

I am so sadden by the passing of uncle Jim, your dad. You have Barbs and mine deepest condolences. It’s a hard thing loosing your dad...Barb and I are still processing the death of our dad, your uncle Bob in April. Brothers are now together again. I hope you can stay strong in the coming days. It will take time to process, but you do have many wonderful memories to draw on and the love you had for him doesn’t leave you. He will be missed. It may not seem like much but you can take solace there is peace now in his spiritual world. “If there is another place, a good one, this great man will watch you now and want you to be happy and full of love like he gave you — EventGreetings.” Take care, God Bless
