Elizabeth's Memory Wall
We encourage you to share your most beloved memories of Elizabeth here, so that the family and other loved ones can always see it. Share your favorite stories or comment on those shared by others.
We were sorry to hear about the passing of Betty. We have many fond memories of her from early in all of our lives. The Guldans were our next door neighbors in St. Joe. We raised our children together.
Betty and George were such great neighbors. They were always willing to lend a hand, provide sage advice or be our friends.
We will miss them greatly, but are confident in the fact that Betty (and George) lived great lives.

Elizabeth captured my heart with her infectious smile, and sharp wit. She knew her own mind and made no apologies about sharing what was on her mind. To have the privilege of knowing such a precious soul is indeed a once in a lifetime experience I'll cherish. Rest in peace liebling. Thank you to the Guldan family for sharing your most precious gift you are blessed to have had.

Our deepest sympathy on Liesel’s passing. She is united now with your father forever. She was a dear and beloved friend of mine for many years and I’ll always remember her great cooking and talented seamstress skills. She will be missed.

On behalf of Petrona's Country Home we want to express our heartfelt sympathy to the Guldans family. We were privileged to be a part of Elizabeth's journey in life and to be associated with such a wonderful family. We will always have fond memories of Elizabeth. She was a ray of sunshine. We enjoyed her wit and spunk. There was never a dull moment , even during her illness. We became a part of the Austrian family while she communicated to us in her native language, then interpret the meaning in English. At times we would be strongly reprimanded to learn the Austrian language because she learned English. We loved her dearly.
With tears we saw you suffer,
As we watched you fade away,
Our hearts were almost broken,
As you fought so hard to stay.
We knew you had to leave us,
But you never went alone,
For part of us went with you
The day you left our home.
