Please accept my condolences. I was shocked to read of Mike's passing. I worked closely with Mike while at WFC. He was instrumental in the computer connectivity for the Collection Center in our many moves. I remember working with Mike until the wee hours when we moved to Riverview Drive so we would be up and running first thing in the morning. He was part of the team. Very good memories. So sorry for your loss.

I was very fortunate to have had Mike as a manager for 4.5 years. He was the best, ever. So appreciated his advocacy. He was universally well-liked, and always kept things light-hearted and amusing.

So sorry to hear about Mike's passing. I worked with Mike at WFC and he was a large part of what made it a great place to work. Mike was smart, effective and most important a great guy to work with. The smile he has in his obituary picture is a very familiar smile!

My condolences are with the family. I remember Mike,, his dad was my boss at Bendix. One day my family was invite over to his dad house and my kids were little at the time. Mike had them down stairs running up and down the Pool Table, letting them have there way. Mike was a wonderful person. My prayers are with the family.

It was through Scouts and Lake Michigan Catholic Schools that I got to know Mike. He was warm, generous, friendly and always ready to lend a hand. He loved working with the kids and sharing his knowledge with them. He was one of a group of dads that worked at Rota Kiwan Scout Reservation making improvements and spending time with each other.
I know it was because of him and the other dads that Mitch and the other boys were able to enjoy fishing, shooting and getting their Eagle.
He will be missed.

My prayers to Cindy and the kids during a difficult loss of their husband and father. I worked with Cindy at Arny Construction in Coloma for a few years and read about the passing of Michael and wanted her to know they are all in my prayers. Words cannot express how sorry I am I only hope you know I love you and wish I could be there to talk to you personally but distance makes it difficult. He is with our Father now and in very good hands. I don't know how he died but I hope and pray you all can rest easier knowing he isn't suffering and our Lord has the plan for all of us. Please know your not alone Cindy we all love you and my family also extends their condolences and we will continue praying for all of you. Thank you for always being there for me at Arny's to help in any way you could it was always appreciated. Sincerely, Mitzi Carr Moore

I have known Mike at Whirlpool quite some time, very helpful and gentle man. Even though he had his last day on earth, find comfort that he also celebrated his first day with Jesus. Sending prayers of peace and comfort to the family

Blessings to the Birk family... I've known Mike a long time through Whirlpool, always genuine and had a smile on his face. I just spoke to him a few weeks ago, and his spirit oh so high and happy.
He will be deeply missed by us all.

I only have great memories about Michael. No matter what was going on, the very first and last thing I always saw when talking to him was his friendly and smiling face. I will always remember Mike as the great man he was. I feel blessed for the moments we shared. Thank you Mike!
