Iris was my great Aunt (second mom). She was always looking out for those she loved. She liked to shop, loved a good steak and potato, always kept up on the latest trends until about her late 70's. Loved to drive by the beach and watch the sunset with her husband (my great uncle Al), always wore pink lipstick and Jovan musk. She never flew in a plane all her life as she just refused and always kept an immaculate home and yard. She would have done anything for anyone who loved her. A few things I will never forget the most about her was her sarcasm, her wit and her smile. Even into her final days she was quite the jokester and witty as ever. I will miss her dearly. All of our talks and most of all how much she loved me back. She was a one-of-a-kind lady. I will never forget her. Not in a million years. Love you Auntie Iris.

My Aunt Iris and I were very close when I was growing up..and as a younger adult... we had may wonderful times together. Saddened to know she has passed on, but very grateful for seeing her again, several times the week before her death, with her great niece Shannon. She told me many times this past week "Please I hope you won't forget me."
I certainly will always remember you Aunt Iris.
