I am deeply saddened by Vel's passing. I played golf with her as her partner for years, and I enjoyed every minute of every game.
She was such a classy lady, and cared so much for others. She will be missed!!

I hold in my heart and prayers Miss Velma's family... She came into my life and blessed me far more than I have words to say. Her bright smile and ready story's to tell of her time in the military will be truly missed. God places certain people in our lives who stay but just a brief moment yet leave footprints on our hearts for ever; Miss Velma was such a person to me. She is greatly missed and will continue in our hearts always. Thank you again Perry for guiding her into my life. May God's peace that surpasses understanding be with you and guide you at this tender time. God bless my friend.

My deepest condolences to Velma's family. She was a very close friend of my father, Al Rosinski. I had the opportunity to get to know her on several happy occasions, many at the yacht club, with my parents. She was an incredible woman known for her service to our country and as a valued friend. - Jean (Rosinski) Engelke
