Meeting Bruce some 50 yrs ago In Niles Mi. I knew then that he would be a success running his business. We had many lunches after his starting his business. His nickname for me was (Flim Flam man) we laughed about it every time we met. As a developer in Niles along with my other business (insurance) we had many transactions. I never asked anybody else for a competitive bid, just told him he was taking me for a ride. I had that much respect for him. He thanked me many times for his help in getting his building ready to do business, I told him I would do it anytime he asked. Charlotte and your family, you have my condolences & sympathy.

I had the privilege of working for Bruce. He was an honest and hard working man. He strived to provide his customers with the best possible service, and put their needs as his priority, not his pocket book. I learned much from his example as well as his instructions and advice. I will always appreciate the opportunity he gave me to come work for him.
I have several good memories of Bruce. The one I would like to share is that we had an emergency call, and I had to hand dig in order to make the repair and get the customer back in business. I was in a hole digging, and I saw another pair of boots in the ditch. It was Bruce, and he had a shovel in his hand. He only cared about the customer, not that he was the boss, or too good to do a lowly task such as dig.
My heart goes out to Bruce’s family’. I am very thankful that I got to know them also and still be great friends to this day. You are in my thoughts and prayers!

Bruce had such a kind and welcoming spirit. We looked forward to seeing the loaded van (with all of Char's things) pull up in January knowing that we had 4 to 5 months of the Ringers as neighbors. We enjoyed cookouts, movies, dinners out, game night, and great conversations. Bruce and Ralph loved to discuss and sometimes debate the ways of the world. While they sometimes had different points of view, they always respected one another's opinion. That's one of Bruce's traits we will remember most; he was a well respected Man of God. We are going to miss you Bruce. Much love to the family. Ralph and Cindi Jacobs
