To the Herrmann Family, Sig was a great man and a great member to the Three Oaks family as he took so many high school senior photos to perhaps, thousands. Sig, according to our Mother, Norma Petruske Drier, was a relative of ours. When we would see Sig at an event for photos etc., he would make a point to come over and say hello to us. He took a family photo for us for a Christmas photo that I still possess. He took many of my high schools year book photos at Bridgman High School. One page for our baseball team consisted of three photos of me playing; all taken by Sig. "Alright, alright, on three, one, two; GOOD!

To a man that was bigger than "life"! Sieg took me under his wing immediately when I became an employee for Herrmann's Studio. One of the best jobs I had as a young adult. Mr. Herrmann & Selma became instant family. Sieg was always willing to take the time to educate about the business he was so talented & passionate about. Always loved our conversations & most of all his big hugs & smile.
Forever grateful to have Sieg & family as neighbors, employer & family friends. Many prayers to you Selma, Scott & Steve for healing.

So sorry to hear that Sig has passed. He was truly a person that added joy to the lives of thousands. I will always cherish the countless hours of instruction, discussion and stories of photography that he shared with me for 15-years following 1974, and the visits since. My most sincere condolences to Selma, Scott and Steve - and their families.

A kind gentleman who PATIENTLY took senior my photos in Three Oaks in 1983, so yes, lots of big 80’s hair. I look back and laugh at what he must’ve thought of our trend and this teen girl poofing her hair in between each take. Thank you Mr. Herrmann for a beautiful keepsake that we’ll always treasure.

A great guy. Worked with him on my Junior and Senior pictures. He also took my wedding pictures. What a fun time working with him.
