I’ve loved this dear lady for as long as I can remember💖 she was a gem and the heart of the family. My best memories are of her family coming to Bethany Beach and spending time with our family on the beach and in the water laughing and being her quiet mannered, joyful, giving self. A good way to judge her strength of love and heart is to see the wonderful children she raised. I love each of them and their hearts for Jesus shine brightly, as hers did. She was a dear dear friend to my mother always, but especially in my moms difficult last days on earth. It was a special friendship I’m so thankful for.

I am so thankful for my mother-in-law, Georgia. When Dwight and I were at college and got engaged, she sent me a card, in which she called me her daughter. I was really touched by that. She always treated me as a daughter, with such love. She was an extremely neat and orderly person -- her house always looked great! Also, she was always dressed so stylishly and looked beautiful. I especially admired her steadfast adherence to the Lord. She put God first! In recent years, whenever we asked her what we could pray for for her, she always said "That I will be content". Actually, I think she was the most content older person I have ever known! That is a gift from God. I will always be thankful for my dear mother Georgia! I will see her again in heaven some day! "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints" Psalm 116:15
