Dorothy's passing marks the end of an important era in the local art scene. Her artistic contributions for some 48 consecutive years to the Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff was a genuine community building effort. -- Michael R. Hill

We enjoyed many talks with Dorothy on the beauty of our local area. Her "Carousel" painting has given me many hours of enjoyment and fond memories of good times in St. Joseph. -- Mary Jo Deegan

Dorothy was a talented artist and instructor who was instrumental in starting both the Krasl Art Center (The St. Joseph Art Association) and the Box Factory. Her beautiful watercolors graced the walls of my Gallery on the Alley for many years. My heartfelt condolences to Cindy and family. I will be out-of-town so unfortunately will miss the service. I will fondly remember Dorothy always. She was a beautiful person.

Remembering Dorothy today with fondness. She was an enthusiastic supporter of the Box Factory's mission and a legacy member of the Berrien Artist Guild. She was first of all a very fine artist. My sincere condolences to her family. -Judy Sokolowski, President, Berrien Artist Guild at the Box Factory for the Arts.
