Major's Memory Wall
We encourage you to share your most beloved memories of Major here, so that the family and other loved ones can always see it. Share your favorite stories or comment on those shared by others.
I worked with Bill while I was at Lake Monhigan College. Benton Harbor High School was one of my school to visit, talk with students, help with financial aid and applications. Bill was gracious to me and helpful about his students. His years experience in counseling and teaching were apparent. He was no push over though. Do it right!
I was glad to see Bill was on the board of Wendy’s Place. I think of him as a colleague and pillar in the counseling and and educational community.
My condolences to you his family. May your memories and your faith give you peace.

My condolences on the passing of your father (Jen) and husband (Mrs. Hyslop). I have fond memories of Bill as my 8th grade teacher and, later, as a karaoke partner at a New Year’s Eve party. Good times with a good man!

My deepest sympathy to the family of Bill "Mr." Hyslop. He was my 7th grade art teacher at Fairplain Jr. High and I thank him for his encouragement to continue as an artist, which I did. I think of him often, he will be missed.

Mr. Hyslop was my junior high school teacher and his mother, Faye, worked for my father at K-Mart. I highly respected them both and am very sad to see Mr. Hyslop has passed. He was a wonderful person who was full of life and made us kids laugh. He will be dearly missed.---Signed, Randi Rowady, Lexington, KY

Blessing and prayers to the family and especially to you, Sue! I was so sorry to read about Bill. Please know what a wonderful guy, Bill was, and how much he will be missed, by all of us. Although we didn’t see each other often, there was a special friendship we held. He was a dear friend!
