My mother, Ella Summerfelt, thought the world of Sally. They both worked together at Benton Harbor Area Schools. I met her several times during those years. I was convinced that there was no better person than Sally.

Dombroski Girls: We are deeply sorry to hear of Sally's passing. We lived next door on Eloise Drive when you were very young. I remember Sally as always cheerful and always with a smile on her face. She was a great neighbor. I recall my dad wanting to sink a sprinkler well, as did many of the home owners in the neighborhood. He, and most of the neighbors, engaged Sally, who had the ability to "dowse"...locate water sources. She would walk with a stick, forked, In her hands, the stick would pulse over a water vein. May she rest in peace in the arms of Our Savior. DiAnn Chartrand Ford.

Dearest Cousins, Carol, Cathy, Julie and Susan:
My fondest memories of Aunt Sally were the family gatherings for either Easter, Christmas or Thanksgiving at your home on Eloise Street. As a child growing up I always loved traveling from Grand Rapids to see and play with my extended family in St. Joseph. Aunt Sally would put on a traditional "Carlson" spread with an "Uncle Pete" spin to it. There was always a sparkle in her eye and a smile on her face no matter how many kids were running around the place. Our last time together with her will always be cherished in my heart and mind. All my love to you and your own families. May God's Grace bring you and yours through this most difficult time.

Sue, Julie,Carol & Cathy, My heart goes out to you ladies and your families. Sally is a very special lady and her kindness and loving spirit will always be treasured. I will always cherish the times that we spent together in the neighborhood and would always love when Sally and my mom would get together and talk about the old days when we would have garage sales. When we discovered that Sally and my dad graduated from St. Joseph in the same class and were in the same homeroom together it was very special. Prayers to all of you. Sally will be dearly missed by many. Love, Tammy Cooper
