i was so sad to see this post. I knew Marie when she would come to the beauty salon next door to my office. She was a feisty, beautiful woman who I am glad to have been able to call her my friend. I am so sorry that I missed the funeral. God Bless to her family at this time! Michelle

I could write a book on all the memories I have of my Aunt Marie, known to us as MaMa. But most of all I always thought of her as the ultimate lady. Never was there a time went to her house without feeling loved. In my childhood years, it was always a safe haven to go and visit Mama and Papa. Mama forever in our hearts, I will meet you on the other side.

Dear sweet Aunt Marie, I’m so glad that I was able to spend some time with you this last month. I will always cherish those memories and keep them close to my heart. I will miss you dearly, but I take comfort in knowing that you are no longer in pain and that you and Uncle Glenn, Glenda and Mandy are together in heaven.

Our hearts and prayers go out to Jim and the family. Grandma Marie was a gift to us all. She had a special light that made the world a better place and brought comfort and love to anyone in her presence. Her beautiful eyes and sweet, spunky personality could put a smile on anyone's face. She will always be loved, missed beyond words, and never forgotten.
