I am so sorry for the your loss Billy. Ruth was a wonderful person, and friend. Prayers for strength to you and your family as you grieve this terrible loss. I worked with Ruth at Four Winds in New Buffalo. We worked in the same building and talked every day. I also know Jessica very well. So sad for your heartbreak. She truly will be missed. Char Farina

Ruth is one of my favorite classmates, I am blessed to have known her, some of my fondest memories are all the notes we Wrote to each other at HHS, that was our “social media” back then. I believe that Ruth’s handwriting was the envy of every girl in the class back then, at the very least, this girl. My favorite thing about Ruth is her gentle honesty, she had a way of telling a person exactly what they needed to hear and in the exact way they needed to hear it, pure kindness and always smiling. I’m sending prayers for the entire family, may you all be able to find peace.

This sad news has even reached me, down in Florida. Please know that I have said prayers of peace for all of you. I know that Ruth was raised with a very strong faith, and that throughout her treatment she has had to rely on that faith. My faith tells me that Ruth is now in a place where there is no pain, no suffering, only PEACE, JOY, AND BEAUTIFUL MUSIC!! Just think, she made it to heaven, in time to celebrate Jesus' birthday! I can only imagine what a party that would have been.... I wish YOU peace, I wish YOU joy, I wish you the ability to enjoy beautiful music!! I know that you are loved by many, many people. Embrace that love....I am sending mine.

My deepest condolences go to her entire family. I missed Ruth contagious smile at HR and her willingness to help with any problem I may have. She always did whatever she could. Always friendly anytime I saw her. I am sure her family misses her dearly. I know she was a strong person and comes from a strong family. I will always remember her smile.
