To the family of Alice, Sorry for your loss. What a wonderful life she must have had. The opportunity to teach our youth and have such an influence to so many must have been very rewarding. The Hodgman /Overhiser family has been a part of our MBG family for many years. We, too, share in your loss. With deepest sympathy, Pat Goin

We have such fond memories of Alice. She loved her family and would talk often about her daughters. She was so pleased they took such good care of their parents and especially her, after Ed passed . Alice and Ed were great examples of what two people can accomplish. They made a great life by working together on their blueberry farm and raising their family. Shelly and I are forever grateful for their examples of love, kindness, and friendship. Their legacy will live on through many of us. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Hodgman and Overhiser families

Dear Marilyn and Myrna I am so sorry to here of your Mom passing away, you have my Sincerest Sympathy and I will continue to keep you in prayer. I have a lot of fond memories from when we were growing up in school, the Halloween party, Marilyn cutting my bangs (one time a little too short, and then your Mom wouldn't let you cut them anymore), floating on the innertube in the little pond in the woods by your house, sliding down your front hill in the winter. My kids say your Mom made the best popcorn balls they have ever had even now! Love and Friends Janie

Dear Marilyn & Myrna, We were saddened to hear of Aunt Alice's passing, but know that it represents another page of our family history turning. As you know your mother taught in several one-room country schools. In researching one of them, several of her past students remembered how much they loved Alice reading to them, especially the books from the series Little House on the Prairie and The Boxcar Children. In fact the students more than once voted to stay after school if Alice would finish one of the stories she was reading to them. One of those children baby sat for the two of you and told me how much she loved both of your parents. We are thinking of the two of you at this time. Love, Clare & Sally

Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family. We enjoyed singing when she played the piano and practicing for the congregration.
