We have such fond memories of Alice. She loved her family and would talk often about her daughters. She was so pleased they took such good care of their parents and especially her, after Ed passed . Alice and Ed were great examples of what two people can accomplish. They made a great life by working together on their blueberry farm and raising their family.

Dear Marilyn & Myrna, We were saddened to hear of Aunt Alice's passing, but know that it represents another page of our family history turning. As you know your mother taught in several one-room country schools. In researching one of them, several of her past students remembered how much they loved Alice reading to them, especially the books from the series Little House on the Prairie and The Boxcar Children.
