Virginia, I am so sorry for your loss . I remember him as quite a gentleman. It sounds like he led a beautiful life of service to God and community. The world has lost an angel and Heaven has gained one.

to Odis and Deb. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your Dad. Some of my favorite memories in life are of him being a coach for us in Little League and talking to him about it years later. He never forgot his boys and we never forgot him. He always carried himself in such a calm cool manner and whenever we would talk I always felt a little bit better after seeing him. He will be missed.

Odis, I am deeply saddened to hear of your fathers death. I always admired your Dad and the dignity he portrayed. His smile and grace carried us through what we believed to be tough times during our sporting venues in High School. I will keep you and your family in my prayers for peace and acceptance during these sad times.

To the entire Allision family, I am sad to hear of Odis passing but I celebrate with you a wonderful man and a wonderful life lived! I have called various Allison family members friends for almost 40 years with "Teddy" being the first. Odis and Virginia are the backbone of a wonderful family and it is a testament to what kind of lives they have lead. Odis has taken his much deserved special place in heaven next to his heavenly Father and that is cause to celebrate his wonderful legacy.

Dear Allison family: With great love & respect for the patriarch of your family who is now in the loving arms of his Savior. Mr. Allison was always a caring & outgoing community member but also a kind & concerned friend to Johnny and our family. We would always share a hearty laugh with Mr. A, he and Johnny always shared some secretive joke. It probably was about Odie.... Mr. Allison will be missed. I am sorry I had to miss the service.

Please allow me to offer my deepest condolences to the Allison family members. Odie was a dear friend and co-worker (state police) for many years. I enjoyed his humor and friendly disposition. Our long conversations regarding biblical topics were always a delight. May God bless his family whom he loved and spoke of often?

Odie was SUCH a great guy! I knew him when he was the head custodian at the South Haven State Police Post back in the 80s. He had tremendous stories about growing up "down south" and all the things he'd seen and one through his life. Just a nice, sweet guy, Odie was! RIP, Odie. See you on the other side, soon.

With deepest respect for Mr. Allison (Odie), I would like to offer my sincere condolences to the family. Odie has been a family friend for as long as I can remember. His infectioous trademark smile was only overshadowed by his kindness to all those he met. My mom, Pat Buck, and I had an opportunity to visit with Odie just a few weeks ago and we relived a few of the good times we had together and I even got a chuckle out of him, remembering, remembering.... the good times. Odie will be greatly missed by our family and anyone that had the pleasure of crossing his path. May God bless Odie and his family. Dean & Pat Buck
