Johnie's Obituary
Johnie Moore, Jr., 74, of South Haven died Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Country Side Nursing Home. He was born on June 22, 1937 to Johnie and Julia (Goldon) Moore in Nesbit, Mississippi. Johnie served his country in the U.S. Air force. Johnie worked as a baggage handler at airlines along with working in auto detailing at a car dealership. Johnie also worked as a security guard.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and a sister.
Johnie is survived by his fourteen siblings – Clarence Smith, Jr. of Arkansas, David Smith of Kalamazoo, Terry Smith of Lansing, Chauncey Smith of Mississippi, Timothy Smith of Kansas City, Mary Lewis of Kansas City, Gertrude Mason of Gobles Alice Tobar of Memphis, LeRoy Smith, Pearline Smith, Betty Jean Ross, Cheryl Smith, Genita Lewis all of Kansas City and James Jones.
Wake will be Saturday, May 26 at 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM with W.C. Askew officiating.
