Love you, brother. You will be missed. I remember when I had an insect in my eye when we were in the berryfield and you charged me two buckets of berries to get it out. Thank you for being there for me!

My fondest memory of Uncle Johnnie? Me, being a young girl from the city could never understand what he was saying, Uncle Johnnie was a mumbler who talked fast...me and Julia would sit and laugh at him when he would talk to us and he would always threaten to whip us!! R.I.P. UNCLE JOHNNIE LOVE YOU!!

Resting now, is the only comfort we have.. You where kind, loving and alot of fun..But the moment I will "NEVER" forget is in 12-2010 when you gave me the bible that your mother (my grandmother) Julia Mae gave to you when you where 7yrs old..I will treasure it as much as I treasured you...My dear UNCLE....

I have missed Johnnie and all of you for many years. Our families were close enough to be considered as family, instead of just good friends. I have fond memories of meeting Johnnie on the fishing banks in the area. I also have fond memories of him and Joe in their red and white convertible cars racing up and down the street. I also remember all the evening and late night pokeno games as well. The last time I saw anyone in Johnnie's family was during a class reunion in 2007. I talked with his sister, Gertrude. We all love our friends and family but, God loves them more and chooses them as his own. Be strong and faithful in the Lord. He will compfort and protect you!
