Roy's Obituary
Roy Edward Olsen, 82, passed away peacefully on March 15 at his home with his family’s loving presence. He was born on November 21, 1929 in South Haven to Harold and Particia (Majchrozak) Olsen.
He married the love of his life Ruby Plasterer October 1948. They have two children Renee (Dennis) Lute of South Haven and Rick (Dawn) Olsen of San Antonio, TX. They have 5 grandchildren; Guy, Kelly and Chad Meachum and Erik and Stacy Olsen and 4 great-grandchildren.
Roy had a zest for life, and loved his family, neighbors and friends dearly. He greatly enjoyed the out of doors and all of God’s creation. He worked 42 years at Central Auto Parts and Auto Value.
In celebration of Roy’s life, visitation will be on Sunday, March 18 from 2-4 pm at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home and on Monday, March 19 from 10 – 11 am. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 am on Monday, March 19 at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery.
