Terri, We will never know why things happen the way they do on this earth. Believe me I've asked a million times if not more over my own son's death. I just have the belief that I will see him again. Hold that belief tight because with memories and pictures that is all we have for now. Terry

Gosh Terri, Where does one begin…it’s so hard to imagine that Lance is no longer with us except in memories…but the memories are so, so rich….and hopefully they will help sustain you in the coming months. Lance was generous, caring & genuine. Who else would have given us a case of CK for an engagement gift? And yes, I still have the crinkled wine bag he used as the card from the two of you! And the trips John & Lance took….the pumpkin from the Drummond Island trip is still in the garden. I recall that Lance didn’t get a pumpkin this year ‘cuz his new tradition was to go pumpkin hunting with Ashlee. Family meant much to him. We're so happy you came into Lance's life and ours. If we can help in any way, please don't hesitate to ask. Our thoughts & prayers are with you. Karen

Lance...smart, funny, lovable...comrade in arms in a not too pleasant environment. He will truly be missed by so many people. Always the smile, the goofy laugh, the "opening" of the Idler Deck in May. He was a great guy. I am so, so sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry to hear of Lance's passing. We were classmates in high school and I have many great memories of such a wonderful person. How fortunate our class was to connect with him once more last summer at our reunion. My condolences to his family, within which Lance's presence will continue and bless us all.

Dear Keith and Kevin I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. I will always remember when Scott and I went on our first cruise your mother and father had a bottle of champagne sent to our room. I always loved how thoughtful and kind your father and mother were to me. Your Dad always had a smile on his face and he was so proud of his two sons.My prayers are with you both during this very hard time. I always have said that you two boys were my favorites. Your aunt Rhonda has told me how well you both have done, your both have such wonderful jobs and are married. God bless you both, your mother and your fathers wife. Your Dad will be missed by many people and he will always be watching over you both with a big smile on his face.

Lance was a high school classmate of mine from Marquette High School in Michigan City, Indiana. Lance was someone who was very friendly and supportive of ALL his classmates and he helped many by his own example of leading an exemplary life! He was a good man, with a good heart and a great smile! He made time for anyone who needed his help! He was a true leader! I pray for Lance's family - but know that your son, father or brother, Lance Peterson, made a positive impact upon all with whom he came in contact here on earth...may he rest in peace....

Dear Terri and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Lance in the Bank's Audit Department for several years and he was such a kind and caring man. We shared a love of antiques and collectibles and at that time he was always searching for a new piece of Fiesta Ware. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Penny Popp

Lance It's been many years since you and I roomed together in Smith Burnham Hall at WMU as well as at the AK Psi house. Our paths never again crossed after college but I thought about you often. I've had a wonderful life, I now reside in SC. It sounds like you've been surrounded by a beautiful family. RIP Lance, you are missed by many. Love your AK Psi Brother, Chach
