Jory and Cathy - I'm so sorry to hear about Uncle Snitch. Please know that he is no longer suffering and that he will always be with you. Now he and Aunt Reta are together again.

Jory, Cathy, and family's, as you may know "Mr. Holmes" was my scoutmaster as a youth. Many years after Jory left the program, he continued on being our example of the outdoorsman, religous leader, and sometimes even a father-figure. He laid the foundation for my life today as a youth leader and modeled good sportsmanship, outdoor conduct, and Christianity at every opportunity ! Memories of camping at our North Point "cabin" drove myself to get involved with a program to save that property from being another million dollar mansion kept from the publics hands. Today North Point is still county property and my Boy Scout Troop is the "caretaker" of that park with scouts using it from all over Michigan. I didn't mean to get carried away here...I did appreciate your father and the time he spent away from his family to be with us. Thx ! Jim Ingraham

I enjoyed Mr. Holmes as a scoutmaster and we all got the woodworking merit badge for building a totem pole. To this day, I wonder where it is! My sincere sympathies to all his family.

Jory, Cathy and family members: I am sorry to hear of youe loss. Cathy, I remember your dad so well during our high school days and how in "awe" I was of his craftmanship and how he could build things. I will always remember sitting in your family room on Indana Ave and the good times we had at your home with your parents. My prayers and thoughts are with all of your. Love, Wendy

Jory and Cathy, Sorry to hear of your loss, but know he is resting well above. I learned a lot about having pride in your work and doing a good job from your father. He and your mom were always very good to our family and we held them in high regard. He was a great example of consistency, simplicity and living a life of principal. Regards, The Chuck Miller family
