Mrs. Fritsche was my 1st grade teacher as well. She instilled the love of books and reading in me, to this day. "Wind in the Willows", Little House on the Prairie", etc, were read to us daily, and she could almost put you in the story. Magical! May she rest in peace.....Karyn R

God Bless You, Grandma. I will miss you, but I'm happy that you are now free. Lots of great memories - you taught me to crochet, always took me to McKenzie's for my birthday, blind-folded me while you fitted the new dresses you were making for birthdays or Christmas gifts, crocheted the shawl for my first prom, and made the bridesmaids dresses for my wedding. And now, I smile as I look at my garden, and think of you as the sedums you gave me years ago are once again turning pink and oh so beautiful, as are you. Lots of love, Cinda

I have many good memories of Grandma Fritsche while growing up with Cinda and visiting Grandma many times. The memory I will never forget is the many weeks in June 1975 as Grandma sewed the bridesmaids dresses for the wedding. She was a neat person. Rest in peace. We now have another angle on our shoulders.

Though I never got the chance to meet you Great-Grandma Fritsche I've heard lots of wonderful stories about you and I look forward to hearing more as the years go on. I just want you to know that I admire your daughter (Grandma Hills) and your grand-daughter (Cinda), they are two very strong women and I'm willing to bet a lot of that is due to you! I promise to take care of them as best as I can and I will always do my best to be a good wife to your great-grandson Bruce. May you rest in peace and remember we will always carry you in our hearts forever!

Madelene, I wanted to tell you that I'm sorry about your mom. I can't believe she was 101. I remember the first time I walked into Lincoln School in 1970 as a first year teacher. I had to teach first grade with your mom and her friends, Mrs. Growden and Ms. Dow. They were great ladies. Then I moved next door to your mom for a couple of years. I am glad that I was there to get to know her. I saw her many times when my class sang at the nursing home. I know that she will be missed by many. Joyce Weber

Dear Madelene - I'm sorry I was out of town and did not know that my neighbor of so many years had passed away. She was quite a lady and I know you and all the family will miss her. I think of all of you often. God Bless.

Mrs.Fritsche was my first grade teacher in 1970, I believe, at Lincoln School. I learned a lot from her. She was a wonderful teacher. She used to come into my Dad's dental office, as a patient also. Our deepest sympathy goes out to all the family. Mrs. Fritsche taught me things that I will remember and keep in my heart always. Rest in peace my friend.
