Derrick, was one of the greatest friends...and will never be forgotten! He was one of the kindest and funniest individuals...Derrick was a thrill seeker and took me along for rides often...one ride ended us in Grenada MS one year at the family reunion lol....I had a blast!!!I am glad that I had the opportunity to know him...He will be missed greatly!!!---Rest In Peace---love, Cass

I can remember when me, Rhonda and Derrick used to play together, when you guys were living in South Haven. My thoughts and prayers go out to Derricks family, he will be greatly missed. My heart has been saddened today...I didnt know he had passed, We had met in Korea and had remained friends since that time. I had always teased him he flys so far under the radar that I would never know if anything happened to him....so he always said to check on him from time to time....So I am sad that today I find out that the bright light of Derrick Carroll has gone out down here on earth....he will be missed...he was a great person, loved to laugh, have fun, and his smile was the best....good bye for now my dear friend...
