Kelley, Eric, Pat, Donna and family - we are so sorry to hear about John. I've been reliving childhood memories from long ago summers. I see your dad with a cigarette in one hand and a martini in the other, always ready to take all of us kids out in the boat. It was so easy being your neighbor. You are all in our thoughts ~ The Adler/Fasel Family

Donna, Tom, KC & Lisa ~ We are so sorry for you loss. John was always so welcoming and kind to us. He was always good for a couple words of wisdon and a laugh. Summers when we were growing up were never complete without John and Donna's house on the beach. You are all in our thoughts.

Much love to all of you during this difficult time. Uncle John was a special man and loved by all, no doubt. I have always admired the closeness of the Nequist family and know the loss of this brother, father, uncle, husband, grandfather, and friend will be felt by all and forever. The best thing for him is to carry on that loving nature! Love, Cindy, Mike, Greg, and Matt Brannan

I have a quick story to share about John, about 20 years ago I was a guest on a Florida spring break at John and Donna's place, Donna asked what cereal I would like from the store, I politely said "Cheerios" please, John looked up from his book and said, "well, it is the best selling cereal", it then hit me that I should have requested a better Kellogg branded cereal. I know that John was well loved and respected. He had great character and a big heart.
