BREAULT (McGhehey), JACQUELINE JANICE
Of South Haven, went home to Heaven on April, 3, 2011, following a brief illness. Jackie was born October 27, 1941 in Detroit, MI to Walter Everett and Lydia Johnson Davis. Her family moved to Gladwin, MI when Jackie was 12, and she graduated from Gladwin High School in 1959 as valedictorian of her class. Jackie earned a bachelor of arts in Accounting from Western Michigan University and became a C.P.A. in 1963. For over 40 years, she served clients as J.J. McGhehey, C.P.A., with offices in Kalamazoo and South Haven. Through her integrity and work ethic, Jackie became highly revered in her field by both colleagues and clients. Dozens of messages were received in the past few months from those learning of her illness sharing the same message of gratefulness to Jackie and admiration for her professional and caring spirit over many years of service.
Jackie became the bride of the love of her life since high school, Robert Breault, on December 11, 2010, and he survives. She is also survived by her daughter, Karen Denise Meadows, of Seattle, WA; grandsons Thomas and Michael Koho and William Meadows of Seattle; brother William (Jacqueline) Davis of Jackson, MI; step-sons Robert Jr. (Mindy), Todd (Kerry), Chris (Michelle), Craig (Diane), Adam (Carrie), Jeremy (Angie), and Derek Breault; step-daughters Amanda (Dave) Schwan, Misty (Ron) Bovee; 14 step-grandchildren; four nieces Michelle Sachs, Lesley Selfe, Lisa Powell and Laurie Archer, one nephew Wesley Davis, and several step-nieces and step-nephews, and very special and long time friend Linda LaRocque.
A celebration of Jackie’s life will take place on April 15, at 4:00 P.M. at Beach Haven Event Center, 10420 M-140, South Haven, MI (1.7 miles south). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jackie’s name to Spirit Space Ministry, 3385 Blue Star Highway, Saugatuck, MI 49453.
