Caroline Elizabeth Kuhn

Caroline Elizabeth Kuhn, 97, of South Haven died Monday, March 15 at
Florida Hospital Waterman in Tavares, Florida.

She was born October 16, 1912 in Covert, Michigan to Nelson Scott and
Caroline(Burton)Howe. Caroline Married Bernard Kuhn on August 3, 1936.
She worked as a farmer for many years then went back to school. Caroline
received her Masters Degree from Western Michigan Univrsity's School of
Teaching in Aunust of 1969. She taught at the Lacota and Bangor Public
Schools for a span of 15 years. Caroline was a member of St. Paul's
Eangelical Lutheran Church in South Haven. Caroline was 4-H leader for
many years and loved to read novels.

She is preceded in death along with her parents by her husband - Bernard
Kuhn who died in 1980. Her son - Bernard Kuhn in 2009. All of her
siblings also preceded her in death. Brothers: Stanley, Joseph, Alfred,
Raymond George, Nelson, and James Howe. Her sisters, Alice Smith, Lydia
Harrington, Jennie Woods and Mary McConnell.

She is survived by her daughter - Jennie (Joseph) Stezowski of South
Haven, Michigan. One grandchild - Brenda(Blake) Certa and two great
grandchildred - Alex and Matthew Certa of Morris, Illinois. Sister-in-Law – Elizabeth Barner of South Haven, Michigan. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be from 6-8 on Friday, March 19th at the Filbrandt Family
Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Paul Lutheran
Church with Pastor Clint Rogas officiating. Burial will take place at
Monks Cemetery in Geneva Township. Memorial contributions can be made to
