Anna Mae's Obituary
Anna Mae Jones, 81, of Covert, Michigan died on January 22, 2010 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. She was born on March 18, 1928 to Robert and Mattie (Rhodes) Woods in Whiteville, Tennessee. Anna Mae worked at the Michigan Fruit Canners for many years.
Anna Mae is preceded in death by her parents and five siblings.
Anna Mae is survived by two daughters; Dorothy Garrett of Kalamazoo, MI and Mattie Marcuse of Vallejo, CA. One son: Robert Dotson Jr. of South Haven, MI., nine grandchildren: Anita Garrett-Ruffin of Surprise AZ., Curtis Garrett of Kalamazoo, MI., Tamiko Garrett of Kalamazoo, MI., Antoinette Davis-Kirkham of Reno, NV., Fred Davis Jr. of Grand Rapids, MI., Michael Davis of Reno, NV., Yolanda Edwards of Tupelo MS., Robert Dotson III. of South Haven, MI., and Kiyla Dotson of Benton Harbor, MI., seven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Anna Mae’s Wake will be on Friday, January 29, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with the funeral services beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Filbrandt Family Funeral Home with Rev. Knox officiating.
