I was blessed enough to have Mrs Jones on my caseload for several years as an Adult Services Worker through DHS. During that time, I truly came to appreciate Anna Mae's spirit and fire. She used to give me the biggest grins as she would describe how she handled situations to make certain that no one was going to take advantage of her. Anna Mae loved life and her family. God bless you Anna, rest in the arms of our Lord.

I send prayers and sympathy for the family and loved-ones of Ms. Jones. I grew up admiring Ms. Jones for being a strong person. I have many great memories that leave me laughing to myself. Her fun sense of humor kept me with the teenage-giggles. Decades later, I'm still inspired by the jokes and conversations that took place around the kitchen table between resilient grown-folks like Ms. Jones. She will be missed but appreciated for the love she left within us.
