I was so saddened to read of Helen's passing in today's paper. My husband, Fred, and I send our sympathies to Tom and family. Helen and I were close friends for many years, going all through Jr/Sr High at old SJ High on Niles. We were neighbors living in same block on Wisconson in SJ. We had many overniters,(I loved her folks). She has a terrific family. We attended so many school functions together, football, etc., going swimming at old pumping station, Silver Beach rides, dancing at Shadowland and many other events. We lost contact for few years and have not been in touch lately, as we moved around a lot as did she and her family, but I have never forgotten Helen and the special friendship we had growing up. God speed on your newest journey Helen. Ginny

Dear Tom and all of my cousins - I was so surprised and saddened to receive the call from cousin Chris that Aunt Helen had died. I knew that she was having problems, but thought physically she was ok. I had alot of good times back in the day at the house by the beach..we were all so young. I was looking at some of the old pics - Helen was a beautiful and strong woman. I know she had a great life and hope that you all feel her with you in your heart every day of the rest of your lives! Sorry i couldnt make the service, but i have been thinking alot about her. I know she's up in heaven playing cards with Herb, Anna and Ken and my mom and dad..I hope to see you soon - maybe cousins reunion in Wisc this summer??

Tom and family, Marv and I are so saddened and shocked when we received your note. As you know Helen and I have kept in touch all these yrs and went to same school and church and went to many fun things together in St. Joe and lived on Wisconsin Ave. also. Went to Silver beach many times. My Last wonderfull memory was when you Tom and Helen spent Christmas at our home in Tucson, had car trouble and spent time with us. I will cherish that memory. Helen, I just know you are in heaven putting puzzles together and enjoying the heavens above Our love to you Tom and family. Please keep in touch, Ruthie
