Dear Hamlin Family: Please accept our most sincere condolences at this dark time, with the passing of Ward. There is very little that can be said to make the passing of the Hamlin Patriarch easier, just know that you all are in our thoughts. I will always remember Ward of course as a supporter of the outdoor sports and member of the "Great Generation". Sincerely, Dave Wiatrowski and Family

I hope that as time passes you find peace in the wonderful memories you all should have. Thanksgiving is a time when families gather together to celebrate and give thanks for everything they have. Dear Uncle Charlie and Hamlin family, My thoughts are with you during these sad times. Bumpa always put a smile on my face. He always treated me like one of his grandkids. I always looked forward to visiting them on sunny days during the summer or showing off my Halloween costume to him each year. He will be sorely missed but I have some beautiful memories from him that I will hold dear to my heart. Uncle Charlie, I'm sorry I'm not there to give you a huge hug or come bother you everyday but know that I'm thinking about you. I'll be praying. Love you dearly. Jennyjo

Dear cousins, I wanted to let you all know how much I feel your grief for the loss of a wonderful father. He was not only our uncle, he was my godfather and the one who helped our family through many difficult times when my father passed on at such an early age, and all the way to the present. He was always there with a smile, his love and usualy a joke. But most important I will always carry the wonderfull memories and love that he gave us that only we cousins can understand. He is at peace now with your mom, my dad and all the other deceased family members. I know he's looking out now at us and expecting us to go forward with all that He left us. His love, unforgetable smiles and many years of wisdom. I know I will not disappoint him. Today would have been my dad's 87th birthday, but I know he is in the company of a dear old friend. Respectfully your cousin, Tom

Ward was a wonderful friend. It was a long distance relationship since we are neighbors of his beautiful daughter Barbara way down in Atlanta. We played golf with Ward and loved partying with him at Barbara's and Phil's as well as our house. He was so positive, and he had that rare gift of giving his full attention to whomever was with him. Just a great guy, and it was our pleasure to have known him and experienced his company.

I am sorry not to be able to attend Ward's service, as I will be working. But, you all will be in my thoughts and prayers. He always tickled me with his 'stewardess stories'. God Bless, Jeanne

Bumpa was a wonderful person and will be dearly missed! I had the pleasure of staying in his home with his granddaughter, Nikki Bruneel, in the summer of 2004. Whenever he was visiting Georgia, I always tried to see him because he was a joy to be around. I hope the way he lived his life brings friends and family peace at this difficult time. Sincerely, Nicole Lea (Nikki Bruneel's friend)
