Dear Family and Friends of Frieda Antonson: I was fortunate to grow up across the road from Frieda. She was a delightful human being -- warm, friendly and always ready with a smile or laugh. May we all be as lucky as Frieda to spend a successful life of 97 years on this earth.

Dear Joan, Ginny and Allen. I wanted to tell you what a wonderful Mother you had. When Bill got cancer she had a lap quilt for him and brought it over. She also made me one. I use Bill's all the time so think of her whenever I use it. I remember also all the delicious cakes she made. She was such a beautiful person. May God be with all of you. Love, Marlene

Although I've sent my personal condolences to Ginny and Joan, I feel like I need to publicly acknowledge how much the Antonsons have meant to me. Joan was one of my first babysitters and then when I was 6 years old, we moved across the road from the Antonsons. From that moment on, Ginny was my surrogate big sister and Frank and Frieda were my surrogate parents if need be. I don't think any child ever felt more secure! Whenever there was a family gathering, their across the road neighbors were always invited. Frieda's warmth in particular was always evident. God bless all of you as you gather together to remember Frieda and thank you for the wonderful memories you've provided me and our continuing friendship. Love, BEV

Dear Joan, Our deepest sympathies are with you. I have fond memories of living near you and your family when you lived on the farm. I especially remember, as a little girl, our family getting a puppy from your mom when our family dog died. I remember your mom as always friendly and caring. Fondly, Arlene.
